Mrs. Peacock is a heavy, heady, and romantic trio with a huge sound from Marin County, California. The band's recent album to radio, "A Band of Beautiful Power," draws from the spirit of the late '60s and '70s — not as nostalgia, but for the atmosphere and imperfection that humanizes music. Their modern progressive sound is often compared to Cream and the Doors with a sonic twist…where tone and warmth matter as much as the songs. They fluidly cross boundaries, sounding modern, deep, and cinematic.
